Refund Policy
Gofa Bots is free to use at the moment. This policy describes how payments and refunds will work once paid plans are introduced, so that you know the rules before you buy anything.
1. Payments
Paid plans will be sold as subscriptions or one-time purchases, priced and described on the site before checkout. Payments are processed by a third-party provider (Stripe). We do not store your card details. By completing a purchase you authorise the provider to charge the stated amount, and, for subscriptions, to charge the renewal price at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
2. All sales are final
Because paid features are digital services that become available immediately after payment, purchases are non-refundable, except in the cases listed in section 4 or where a refund is required by applicable law.
3. Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. By purchasing a plan you expressly request that the service starts immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided. For subscriptions, you may still cancel at any time for future periods (section 5).
4. When we do refund
- You were charged twice for the same period, or charged an amount different from the displayed price.
- A paid feature was unavailable for a substantial part of a billing period because of a fault on our side, and we could not fix it within a reasonable time. In that case we may refund the affected period in full or in part, at our discretion.
- Any other case where a refund is required by law.
To request a refund, email support@gofabot.duckdns.org within 14 days of the charge with the Discord account and server concerned and the payment receipt. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
5. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a subscription at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; the paid features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the remaining time is not refunded.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. If a payment is charged back without contacting us first, we may suspend paid features on the affected account until the matter is resolved.
7. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not apply to purchases made before the change.
