Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Gofa Bots website at gofabot.duckdns.org, the dashboard, and the Discord bots published by Gofa Bots ("we", "us"). By logging in, adding one of our bots to a Discord server, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who can use the service

You must have a Discord account in good standing and be old enough to use Discord under Discord's Terms of Service (13 years, or older where local law requires). By adding a bot to a server you confirm that you are allowed to manage that server.

2. What the service is

Gofa Bots provides Discord bots (for example Gofa Tickets) and a web dashboard for configuring them. The bots run inside the Discord servers you add them to and act according to the settings you choose. Discord itself is a separate service with its own rules, and we do not control it.

3. Your account

You sign in with your Discord account through Discord's OAuth flow. We never see your Discord password. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your Discord account secure. You can revoke our access at any time from Discord's Authorized Apps settings.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service to harass, threaten, spam or defraud anyone, or to break Discord's Terms or Community Guidelines;
• upload or configure content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or contains malware;
• try to access other people's servers, tickets or data through the service;
• interfere with the service, probe or overload it, or reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows;
• resell the service or present it as your own.

We may suspend or remove access, panels or data that we reasonably believe break these rules.

5. Your content and server data

You keep all rights to the settings, text, images and other content you put into the dashboard, and to the messages your members write in tickets. You give us permission to store and process that content only to the extent needed to run the service (for example, to post your panel in Discord, to create ticket channels, and to save transcripts you asked for).

When you enable transcripts, the bot stores copies of messages and attachments written by your server members. You are responsible for telling your members that tickets are recorded, and for having a lawful basis to do so where the law requires it. Our Privacy Policy explains what we store and for how long.

6. Our content

The service, its design, code, names and logos belong to Gofa Bots or its licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to use them except as needed to use the service.

7. Free and paid features

The service is currently free. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, the price, billing period and included features will be shown before you pay, payments will be processed by a third-party provider (such as Stripe), and our Refund Policy will apply. Prices may change; changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. We may change, limit or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Where reasonably possible we will announce major changes in advance.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gofa Bots is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you paid nothing, to zero. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time by removing the bots from your servers and revoking access in Discord. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections 5, 6, 9 and 12 survive termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will show a notice on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections of the country where you live.
